There Are Some Things That You Just Could Not Lie About
I spend a good deal of my time reading press releases. Most are so boring that I wonder why people even bother to send them out. But occasionally you stumble on a BIG ONE. Lets face it, when the opening paragraph reads: The Oregonian reported 7.8 million gallons of drinking water had to be drained from the Oregon reservoir after a urinary incident. They drained the water after security cameras recorded a 21-year-old man allegedly urinating Wednesday into the Mount … Continue reading

DVD Review: Rick Wakeman – Made In Cuba
I am a Rick Wakeman fan, and I heard about this DVD, but like many aspects concerning Cuba it has taken 6 years for it to make it to the US market. The concert happened in 2005, and Rick Wakeman was joined by his band the New English Rock Ensemble. In some ways this concert could be viewed more as a political statement than anything else. Cuba is hardly the stopping point on any major musicians tour route. The Karl … Continue reading

Caylee Marie Anthony: Where Is The Justice For Her?
Caylee Marie Anthony wasn’t my daughter. I never had the privilege to meet her in person, yet in my heart I feel like I had. My heart is broken. I feel this baby has died all over again Tuesday when the verdict came in. Simon and I have followed this case from day one. I remember writing my first article about Caylee missing. Throughout the months, I got way too involved. I let my heart get involved and now it … Continue reading

Casey Anthony Update: Is It OK For a Mother To Lie On The Stand For Her Child?
I would never be able to count all the mothers out there that have followed this case from the very beginning. I realize a lot of fathers have followed the case as well but for the moment let’s just talk about the mothers. From one mother to another, if you were caught up in a situation like the Anthony’s have been in, would you be willing to perjure yourself in a court of law just to protect your child? I … Continue reading

Casey Anthony Update: George Breaks Down on Witness Stand
Today we started out with an interesting testimony from George and Cindy Anthony once again. Cindy took the stand. Baez went right after her asking her about Lee allegedly groping Casey in her bedroom. Cindy answered that she doesn’t recall anything about that incident. The state objected and a sidebar was called which ended with the objection being sustained. Once Cindy left the stand, George was called as the next witness. Questions were thrown to George from left to right, … Continue reading

Casey Anthony Trial Update: Did Drowning Story Come From Talking Walls?
Well of course today couldn’t have been any different than any other day in the Casey Anthony murder trial. I think the folks have become accustomed to the saying, “nothing seems to surprise us anymore”. Well once again today Jose Baez complained to Judge Perry about the prosecution indicating to him about the possibility of them using a conversation from an old jail inmate from the Orange County jail that apparently had a similar story concerning the drowning of her … Continue reading

Casey Anthony Trial Update: A Court In Recess For the Day Before It Even Starts Today
I got up early this morning. I took my shower and got everything done so I could sit down and watch and listen to the start of a new week in the Casey Anthony trial. 4 a.m. might not be early to some but it is for me especially since I don’t normally get to bed at night until midnight or so. When 8 am came I thought to myself, OK here we go. Why wasn’t I surprised when of … Continue reading
