On June 29, 2011 in Ludington Michigan reports are that Sean Michael Phillips had an argument with Ariel Courtland regarding the paternity of her daughter, Katherine Shelbie-Elizabeth Phillips known now as “Baby Kate”. The baby is only 5 months old and has not been seen since. According to Courtland they argued over the fact that Phillips wouldn’t tell his parents that the baby was his.

Mariha Trenice Smith, 5 was reported kidnapped sometimes between 3 a.m. and noon Sunday by her mother, Konesha Smith, 24. The Detroit mother said, “The way I’m looking at it, someone climbed through the window and took my daughter. I can’t even close my eyes because my daughter’s missing.”
According to the mother, there was a get-together at the home and late into the night Mariha was put to bed on the living room floor along with her three cousins about 3 a.m.

As I wrote about yesterday, Elisa Baker, the stepmother of the 10 year old Australian girl that was murdered, was in court on the Identity theft charges. Baker has numerous charges against her. She has a total of nine felony charges, which includes the second degree murder charge and the obstruction of justice charge.

Her stepmother, Elisa Baker admitted to the police that she wrote a fake ransom note in order to throw the cops off the investigation as well. She was arrested for obstruction of justice and has been in jail since.

Tonight on the Joy Behar Show on CNN’s sister station, HLN, Behar’s guest was Dorothy Clay Sims, one of the attorney’s for Casey Anthony. Personally it seemed to me that Sims was more or less there to babysit Anthony during the trial though.
Sims was the one that seemed to be coaching Casey letting her know when it was time to cry or look upset during the trial. She sat next to her comforting her like a mother hen would do to her chicks.
