DVD Review: Paradise Postponed & Titmuss Regained

Leslie Titmuss, played by David Threlfall has never exactly fit in among the denizens of Rhapstone village. Socially awkward and hailing from a humble background he is determines to get to the highest levels of society and he is willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

For most of his life he was taken under the wing of the Reverend Simcox (Michael Hordern). The Reverend’s sons, Henry (Peter Egan) and Fred (Paul Shelley) showed little concern over Titmuss’s relationship with their father until their father died. They suddenly have every reason to hate Titmuss when they learn that the good Reverend left the family fortune to Titmuss and not them.

The mystery begins as to how and why this could have happened. They want to know was he mad? Or was there a darker explanation as to why their father would give everything to Titmuss.
