I reported yesterday about a supposed drug and sex fest that Misty Croslin was involved in a couple of days ago. For those of you not familiar with the name Misty Croslin, she was the babysitter of Haleigh Cummings, and also supposedly the last person to see the little girl before her disappearance on Feb 9/10 of 2009.
Through an intermediary I have obtained some more details of this sex and drugs binge.
The host was one Charles Jones, a man with a somewhat colorful background. Reports are claiming that he was found guilty on an arson charge, and is very much involved in the drug scene in Palatka. So involved that he is the ‘go to’ guy for them.
The story I was told goes like this. A buyer arrived to find Charles Jones, another unnamed male, and Misty Croslin smoking a ‘blunt’. The buyer was taken into the bedroom where Charles long time girlfriend was asleep on the bed. The drug transaction was concluded and they returned to the living room where Misty and this unnamed Black man were ‘Making out’. Charles allegedly remarked “She’s got a tight pu***, and I’m next”.
The buyer hung around, and while Misty was doing her thing, the buyer and Charles Jones snorted some crushed up pills and smoked a couple of ‘blunts’. Charles then took Misty to the bedroom, (don’t forget the sleeping girlfriend). The buyer openly admitted that he hung around hoping for his turn, but when the two appeared again after some 20 minutes, the draw of cocaine was bigger than his sex drive. Cocaine was in, Misty was out!
This has shades of deja-vu about the weekend prior to Haleigh Cummings disappearance.
I can not confirm this, but apparently there is another party is scheduled tonight. At least one source is claiming that Misty Croslin’s birthday is right around now. Is this going to be a drug and sex birthday party?
We are still digging on this story, and there are many questions that remain unanswered, not least of which is the name of the unknown black man that Misty was ‘making out’ with.
As more information rolls in, I will update you all.

OMG, This is so sad. Misty doesn’t have one ounce of self respect. She needs to be careful or she will end up dead. Either over-dose by someone who wants to get rid of the threat of her knowing anything about HaLeigh or she will just over-dose on her own because of her connection to HaLeigh’s disappearance. Either way her future is not looking promising. I would be mortified if I were her and I knew people were reading this stuff. How proud her parents must be. This is awful, she appears to be on the same quick downward spiral that her brother is on.
Maybe their guilt is becoming to much for them to live with? I hoped that law enforcement would have talked to Misty today since she is now an adult. It will be interesting to see what transpires in Putnam county tonight with the big party for her birthday.
Unbelievable! Is Misty a prostitute now? I would want her to watch my kids…not! I wonder how long she can keep this up. Soon she will look like Mama.

I am a long-time friend of Charles Jones girlfriend, and this story is bullshi*t. I don’t know Charles very well, but I know his girlfriend very well (15 years).
Not that I ever believed any of the stuff that email said that happened because only way they would know something like that is if they were there and I doubt they were so I doubt the story. Plus, it was so over the top it sounded like someone was just trying to make Misty look bad.

First of all…Misty currently isnt dating anyone. This is charles’ real girlfriend (the so said “sleeping” one) I was on vacation all week, and I didnt sleep through it, also, I am a light sleeper so I would have woken up even IF I was, especially with them going in and out of my room like this story says. I know exactly what went on in my house. None of this is true. We dont sell drugs out of our house. You will NEVER find cocaine in it. And no “unknown black male” was there. No black male was there at all. Seems this story was created to try and make both of them look bad. And all the BS about the drugs and the mentioning of Charles arson charge possibily to try and get him in trouble? But, for those of you who didnt know. Charles, his brother, and his dad, were all on the search team helping look for Haleigh. They searched all day, every day during the search from the very start of it, and even lead their own search days after that ended (while her FATHER didnt help search at all, not once). I know Misty, she is not at all what the media makes her out to be. People need to quit making up stories and GET A LIFE! No, none of us are related to the sheffields and we dont live around, nor ever talk to/see Ronald, so not sure where all the BS about a 4 wheeler is coming from. We know nothing about it.

Thanks for answering my questions. The rumor of the 4 wheeler started at Websleuths and their scanner thread. They were listening to the scanner one night and said that call came over that Ron was harassing someone on a 4 wheeler with a gun.Then somewhere else it morphed into it was ya’lls residence that called into 911. If I remember correctly no name was given that night and I would have to search out what address this was and it was a few weeks ago before the supposed “party” at your house.
I would love to know who is starting all these rumors and lies and what is the purpose of it?
Also did Charles get beat up really badly lately? Seems that’s the new rumor du jour?

To everyone that wants to know why my son sent arson to a home that was unoccupied next to his own house.He was at a party eariler that day.Someone had slipped a pill (we are not sure of) in his drink that made him think and see things that wasnt there.Plz believe me that my son was training to be a firefighter! You should not be allowed to post stories with out written documentation from a confirmed source and the story should be relevant to the abduction of Haleigh Cummings. I was listening to the scanner that night 11/22. And they did mention Charles Jones has the reporting party(I will leave out the address) and that Ron was threatening him and was riding around with a four wheeler. Ron call LE and told him it wasn’t him because he was in Jacksonville.

Crystal Sheffield may not be in the news for drugs but she is on them. Kim Picazio gave a statement to the court that said DCF has proof her baby Chloe was born with illegal drugs in her system, they asked Crystal to drug test and then closed the case and let Junior with Ron. I wonder why?
Kim could not seek custody in court because proof existed that Crystal is a drug addict. This is also the reason Crystal lost her kids in the first place (imagine that just what the father said)Kim Picazio know say is true. Crystal was served notice and just did not show up. Picazio also says that Crystal was told not to drive but drove anyway and drove on drugs and when her father came before the police she had him take those drugs. So, driving on drugs with a baby in the car and having an accident is felony child endangerment. Her father signed a sworn statement that this is true. He also said he would go to court and tell the judge Crystal should not have her kids because she is a drug addict. Please do not post how wonderful Crystal is. She lied from the start and anyone with half a brain could tell. Know we have her lawyer comming forward to tell just what kind of people they are and how they spent all their time in the days and months after Haleigh went missing with the focus on making Ron Cummings look bad. To the point that it was more important than Haleigh Cummings.

After all he had those kids for a reason and she showed no interest in them at all. She knew nothing about her own child. Please. Give me a break. Also according to kim Picazio the second most important goal for Marie Griffis and Crystal (after making Ron look bad) was to make money. Which by the way the spent none of it went to search for Haleigh.

You go on and on about how Crystal is a drug addict…you seem to forget, Ronald is a drug addict too ! Those children should NOT have been in the custody of wither parent, and the legal system and DCF should be yanking that little boy out of where he is before he is next ! Ron is a pill popper and drinks as he does it. What if some of these loose pills were to fall out of his pockets and the little boy just happen to ingest them? Ron is also a loose cannon, with an uncontrolable temper, and posseses fire arms. Have you not seen the story by Tim Miller where Ron is telling him that if he finds out “Misty” did have anything to do with Haleigh’s disappearance he would kill her anyone who got in his way and himself ? He had an assault rifle, got on his knees, put the barrel of the gun in his mouth to demonstrate how he would kill himself. His son witnessed this .
I still believe and unless it is proven other wise, I will always believe Ron had more to do with the disappearance, or has much more knowledge of it then he is ever admitting !
As for little Miss Misty, well, she’s a drug addicted little “Ho”…and Ronald should still have to face charges on contributing to the deliquency of a minor( he was supplying Misty with his private stash of pills too) and the fact that he was having sex with a minor. All of the parents(Misty’s and Ronald’s) are all drug heads too…they all sure do love their pills. That little boy doesn’t stand a chance of growing up to be an upstanding young man surrounded and raised by all of these drug addicted yahoos !
