It is another busy weekend for BNN radio. We have three very diverse programs on the menu.
On Friday June/11 at 1pm central we will be talking to film makers Daniel T. O’Brien and Jennifer Powers. Their new documentary Last Flight Home is one of the years best. It does not include a lot of glitz and glamour, it just tells a story that is long overdue. WWII ended more than 60 years ago. Yet there

OK I have read some very crazy things that the attorney representing little Caylee Anthony’s Mom has pulled but I think this one takes the cake. As we all know Caylee Anthony is the 2 year old little girl from Orlando, Florida that disappeared in June 2008, almost 2 years ago to the date. Her mother has been arrested and charged with first degree murder and is facing the death penalty for it. Caylee’s remains were found 6 months

No-one has ever accused me of being mainstream, and reviewing what obviously is a Christmas book in March does not bother me one iota. Christmas is a wonderful time, I for one advocate that we should celebrate it every day. The rest of the world seems fixated on not doing that, which I think is a shame.
One thing that you might not be aware of is the history of carols. We call the Christmas Carols today, but there were

I like Marilyn Randall’s books, I had read her first two and they were delightful. Writing a book for a young child is actually much more difficult than one might imagine. For Faithful Friends was her first foray into the young child genre (review here), and it really demonstrated her great ability. I have reviewed many books aimed at children but Marilyn is the first author that I have really enjoyed that did not just write the text, but

Almost a 1000 pages of ’stuff’ were released last week, I have had little time to determine the worth of the data. Some I find interesting, others merely are fillers. On the whack job side of the equation we have Joy Wray, and some others. On the more serious side of the house we have Tim Miller, the Anthony family, and many of the folks from Texas Equusearch organization.
I have not had time to read the entire data dump. And for those of you that

Aja Johnson
Missing was her 8 year old daughter, Aja Johnson and police believed that she had been abducted by Tonya’s estranged husband, Lester Hobbs. An Amber alert was issued for her soon after. Police also said that they did indeed consider Hobbs

National- Much is to be said in the progress for medical marijuana choosers. Though accepted by the highest seat in our nation, there is still quite a bit of ignorance in opinions regarding the subject. The seriously mislead “Reefer Madness” generation seem to be under the impression that medical marijuana is illegal according to federal law. I feel as though I am a broken record destined to repeat that in 2009 President Barack Obama stated he would not use federal law to arrest medical marijuana

There is nothing more exciting than to sit down to watch a good horror flick with a bowl of hot buttered popcorn and a tall glass of cold coca-cola and trying to keep from spilling it all when a scary scene comes up making you jump. I have loved horror movies since I was a kid, unfortunately it is not a taste in movies that my husband I share so I have to stay up at night alone if
